I am an activist & a pacifist in most respects, but if people tend to give me too much crap, sure I can lash out, if need be. I tend toward being a Socialist or Communist, but Democratic or at least Green party as for the U. S. system of parties, and I hate George Bush, so if you like him.. get used to my ranting about him. I also dislike the Christian religion in some aspects, while agreeing with it on most of the exact words and phrases that Jesus said. It's hard to describe myself in a few sentences, but if you'd like to get to know me, ask to be friended by me so you can read more of what I have to say. ∞ I started out life in the small central Missouri community of Eldon, near Lake of the Ozarks. I was a good kid, but after I started school, things went downhill. I was a good student, but everyone made fun of me, beat me up, and betrayed me if I ever actually gained a friend, and it's done a lot of psychological damage. I had buck teeth, and I got them straightened when I was in the 5th grade, but by then, most of the damage had already been done. I'd make a great case study! I was a good student in high school - I was the artsy, hippie/goth girl (I can't categorize myself well - to me, I'm just an oddball) that never really said much, but always dressed strangely, & played pranks on other people while they weren't looking - it's great when no one suspects you. By this time, I wasn't being picked on, but I was screwed up and didn't know how to make friends with people very well, and, I still don't, though I still try. I developed depression my Senior year of high school, and since then, well, it's been a struggle. My psychiatrist now thinks that I am Bipolar, and I'm being treated with Effexor, which has helped a lot..but & I've been treated like crap most of my life by most people, so if I seem a little whiney, well, go figure. The occasional depression does fuel my artistic creativity a bit, if I could just get off my lazy ass and do something. I try to maintain a rather sarcastic, if not off-the wall, sense of humor, though - it's what keeps me somewhat sane. I'm a perfectly nice person, who is more caring and giving because of what I've been through than most people will ever be. I would never purposely hurt a good friend, unless slighted severely by them, (my Scorpio nature does come through, from time to time, and I don't like being stepped on, it's true) and I am one of the most loving and giving people I have ever met. I'm a Junior in college and I'm attending Park University near Kansas City & studying Graphic Design, because I'm never going to want to take enough schooling to become an Archaeology professor. (Archaeology was my major at MU) I would love to be an Egyptologist, but that's just a dream. I love my boyfriend to death, and he has helped me grow immensely as a person. I'm also a model, specializing in anything fantasy and gothic, and I'm working on becoming a Suicide Girl. I do a lot of hemp jewelry work and DIY purses as well, which I sell on Ebay. At the moment, I'm not in the greatest position in life, but I'm working on it, and getting further along the road that I want to travel. She never quite sheds that sense of separateness, which may give her the air of being aloof; others consider her shy & socially inept. Her strong inner world of emotion and spirituality is always of paramount importance to the Isis archetype; her interest in the outside world is primarily in nature and the astral manifestations of physical situations. In other words, she beholds the sacred in nature and always looks into people rather than at them. Coupled with her quietness, this can make her an unnerving companion, and the down to earth may consider her pretentious or neurotic. Later in life she will appreciate a laugh en route to samadhi, but in the meantime the jovial will seem to her irrelevant and, indeed, irreverent. Her main relaxation will be in the form of creativity, gardening, and herbalism; today, possibly aromatherapy and metaphysical interests, and the company of trusted animals and friends. The Isis-type is affectionate and inwardly loyal, but can be relentless in pursuit of her spiritual goals. Though warm on the surface, she can be persuaded by "higher understanding" to sacrifice that which is dearest to her - and then she is as cold as ice. She is interested in reincarnation, mythology, and the healing arts, and is usually flanked by cats. She is the classic Wiccan woman or spiritually-inclined wife and mother. She is intense, quiet, and dark, and fiercely protective of her own. She would go to the end of the world for a loved one. She is retrospective, sometimes depressive, and believes in burning brightly when inspired. Laughter and sunlight are useful aides in normalizing her..too much moonlight and she turns into Hecate.
